摘要：PURPOSE:To obtain a plaster having high transcutaneous absorptivity of drug,

keeping the stickiness of plaster over a long period, free from skin irritation and having

high safety, by applying a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer containing a drug, a specific

surfactant and a fatty acid ester to the surface of a substrate. CONSTITUTION:The

objective plaster useful for various medical uses is produced by coating a surface of a

substrate with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer containing a drug (e.g. nonsteroid anti-

inflammatory, etc.), a surfactant as a transcutaneous absorbefacient of the drug and a 6-

18C fatty acid ester such as isopropyl myristate to ensure the stability of the stickiness

with time. The above surfactant is N-acylsarcosine of formula (R is 5-17C aliphatic

hydrocarbon group). EFFECT:The active concentration of drug in blood can be maintained

over a long period without using a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer containing a large

amount of drug and the drug exhibits high bio-availability. The drug compounded to the

adhesive layer is resistant to degradation and has excellent compatibility with the

adhesive. There is no migration of the drug to the surface of the adhesive layer after the

preparation of the plaster.
