津津有味读经典—《铁路少年》阅读赏析

一、作者简介

伊迪丝·内斯比特(1858-1924)是英国女作家。伊迪丝出版过包括各种文体在内的一百来

部书，她一直看好她为成人写的作品，尤其是诗歌，但最终她是在儿童文学创作方面大获成

功、名声远播，欧亚诸国纷纷译介她的代表作。

伊迪丝的第一部儿童文学作品出版于1890年，是本儿童诗集，叫《两季的歌》。她的

儿童文学创作大体分两类:一类是小说,写现实生活的家庭冒险故事，代表作是描述关于巴斯

塔布儿一家的《探宝的孩子们》(1899)和《铁路边的孩子》(1906)，这类作品中儿童性格刻

画鲜明，家庭生活描写真切动人;另一类是童话,神奇故事，这类作品更为著名，代表作有《五

个孩子和一个怪物》(1902)、《沙妖》(1903)、《不死鸟(凤凰)和飞毯》(1904)以及《四个孩

子和一个护身符》(1906)等。这些故事悬念重重、曲折离奇、想象丰富、却理趣结合，给孩

子以如临其境、真实可信的感觉。

Edith Nesbitt (1858-1924) was an English woman writer. Edith published more than a

hundred books in all genres. She had always admired her work for adults, especially poetry,

but it was her success in children's literature that brought her fame and translations into

Europe and Asia.

Edith's first work of children's literature was published in 1890. It was a collection of

children's poetry called Songs of Two Seasons. Her children's literature can be divided into

two categories: one is fiction, which is about family adventures in real life. The representative

works are The Treasure-hunters (1899) and The Children by the Railway (1906) about the

Bustabers. In these works, children's characters are clearly depicted and family life is vividly

other kind is fairy tale, the magic story, this kind of work is more famous, such

as Five Children and a Monster (1902), Sand Demon (1903), Not Die Bird (Phoenix) and

Flying Carpet (1904) and Four Children and a Talisman (1906).These stories are full of

interest, to give children a sense of immersive, authentic and credible.

三、故事简介

故事发生在十九世纪的伦敦，三个孩子和他们的爸爸妈妈一起生活在市郊，住着现代化

的房子—一栋红砖前脸儿的别墅。

这家的三个孩子：罗倍塔最大她是妈妈最爱的孩子；弟弟叫皮特，他想做一名工程师，

最小的妹妹叫菲雷丝。

妈妈天天和孩子们玩，帮他们做作业，为他们写故事，饭后茶余读给他们，她还在不平

常的日子时编一些有趣的诗句。

爸爸是个政府议员，从不发火，是个讲公道的“完美爸爸”。一家人幸福快乐的生活着。

可有一天夜里，家里突然发生了一件可怕的事情，爸爸被人带走了。他们的妈妈消失了

几天后，把伦敦的房子卖掉了，搬到乡下一个叫“三只烟囱”的地方生活。在乡下，妈妈只能

在阁楼上写小说来补贴家用，连过去看都不想看的面包都成了奢侈品。

在那里，孩子们没有地方可去，妈妈也没功夫陪他们读书了只能天天去山坡下的一条铁

路和一个小小的车站玩。皮特还发现了煤矿，便推了辆挖煤车去偷挖煤，因为家里买不起煤，

有一次被抓到车站长那里，说出原由时，车站长原谅了他们，因此，他们认识了车站长。

他们每天都到铁路边，向到伦敦(他们爸爸所在的地方)的那一列火车招手，车里便常有

一个老绅士也向他们招手，他们便成了没说过话的朋友。

过了一段时间，孩子们认识了车站的职工波克斯，村里的医生，和火车的锅炉工等人，

经历了许多有趣而又惊险的事，有一次，他们上山去摘野樱桃, 忽然发现了山体出现了塌方，

堵住了铁路，而那列火车就快到来了，他们立刻决定奔跑到火车要到来的前方挡住火车，让

它停下来，鲍比为了阻止火车，甚至在火车停下来之后，吓得晕倒了，最后终于拯救了全车

的人，因此，铁路公司还为他们这种果敢而无畏的行动举行了表彰仪式。

经过很多事情之后，他们发现老绅士是一个级别很高的政府官员，他们请老绅士帮助他

们重新调查他们爸爸的事，终于把爸爸就出来了，一家人又过上了幸福而甜蜜的生活。

The story happened in the 19th century in London, three children and their parents lived

together in the suburbs, living in a modern house -- a villa with red bricks and front door.

There were three children in the family: Roberta, the eldest, was her mother's favorite; The

younger brother's name was Peter, who wanted to be an engineer, and the youngest sister's name

was Phyllis.

Mother played with the children every day, helped them with their homework, wrote stories

for them, read to them after dinner, and made up funny verses on unusual days.

After reading this book, I was deeply inspired, it is a touching story about a beautiful soul

and adversity growth. I can not help being moved by their kind, sensible, filial, intelligent quality.

Moreover, the hero’s clever mind makes me admire them even more. They used their wisdom

to save the life of a train, and a lot of valuable property.

This book gave me a great revelation, It is this book that lets me understand the conditions of

a good boy and the true meanings of life. I must be like the protagonist in the article, continue to

struggle, study hard, only in this way, success will be in front of my eyes.
