Step1 lead - in
Grammar focus
As long as technology develops, our future lives will be more
convenient.
You can stay in my room as long as you keep it clean.
We may become lazy if we have robots do everything.
If we want to read, we can download e-books.
Computers are our friends unless you use them in the wrong way.
Unless you tell little John a story, he won’t go to sleep.
1.先由学生默读句子,并画出条件状语从句,并且提示学生特别
注意从句中的时态与主句的时态关系。
2.教师点名让学生朗读,并且说出句子中的条件状语从句。
Step2 presentation
1.通过以上以上例句的呈现,试着让学生总结什么是条件状语从
句。(定义)
定义:在英语中,要表达“在什么条件下,某事很可能发生”
的时候,我们就会用到条件状语从句。而且这样的句子一般有
一个条件词连用,如上面句子中的if ,as long as,unless.那么条
件状语从句的结构就是表示条件的词加上句子。
条件是指某一件
事情实现之后(状语从句中的动作),其它事情(主句中的动作)才能发
生,通常译作“假如”。(注意:在含有条件状语从句的复合句中,表示将
来时态,主句是一般将来时态,从句要用一般现在时[主将从现原则])。
2,需要学生自己所知道的的条件状语从句,或者教师说出中文,学生说
出英文。
Eg:
If you ask him, he will help you.
如果你请他帮忙,他会帮你的。
If you fail in the exam, you will let him down.如果你考试不及格,你会让他
失望的。
So long as you're happy,i will be happy.
只要你开心,我就会开心。
If it rains,we won’t go on a picnic.如果下雨,我们就去野炊。
3.条件状语从句的有关知识:
1)if引导的条件状语从句
表示在某种条件下某事很可能发生,及其产生的相关结果,主句一
般用将来时态,从句用一般现在时态。
If we pay much attention to the earth, we'll have a better world.
如果我们多关爱地球,就会拥有一个更美好的世界
If it rains tomorrow, what shall we do?
如果明天下雨,我们怎么办?
2)引导的条件状语从句

unless的意思是如果不,除非。可与if...not互换。
You will fail in English unless you work hard.
你英语考试会不及格的,除非你更加努力。

3)as /so long as引导的条件状语从句
as /so long as意思是“只要”
So long as you're happy,i will be happy.
只要你高兴,我就高兴。
4)in case 引导的条件状语从句
in case 的意思是“如果,以防”
Take your umbrella in case it rains. 带着你的伞吧,以防下雨。 条件状
语从句
5)once引导的条件状语从句
once引导的条件状语从句,意为“一旦...,就”,从句可置于主句前或后
Once you begin,never stop.
一旦开始,就绝不要停止
Maths is easy to learn once you understand the rules.
一旦你理解了规则,数学就不难学了。
6)on condition(that)...在……条件下,如果 on condition (that)...引导的条件
从句是主句事件发生的前提条件或唯一条件。
I can tell you the truth on condition that you promise to keep a secret.我可
以告诉你真相,条件是你答应保守秘密。
You can go swimming on condition (that) you don't go too far from the river
bank.你只有在不远离河岸的条件下才可以下水游泳。
7)supposing conj.如果,假如 supposing引导的条件从句表示一种假设条
件
Supposing it rains, shall we continue the sports meeting?倘若下雨,我们的
运动会还要继续举行吗?
Supposing something should go wrong, what would you do then?假如出了
什么问题,你准备怎么对付?
8)provided conj.假如,除非,以……为条件 provided (that) +从句表示一种
假设条件。
He will sign the contract provided we offer more favorable terms.如果我们
提出更优惠的条件,他就会在合同上签字。
He won't be against us in the meeting provided that we ask for his advice in
advance.如果我们提前征求一下他的意见,他就不会在会上反对我们。
4.条件状语从句的使用规则。
1)在条件状语从句中,如果从句谈论的是一个有可能发生的事实及其产
生的相关结果,主句一般用将来时态,从句用一般现在时态。如:
If it rains tomorrow ,we will not go to the zoo.如果
明天下雨,我们就不去动物园了。
What will you do if you find a panda in danger?如
果你发现一只大熊猫有危险,你会怎么做?
2)如果条件从句谈论的是经常发生的事情,则主句大多用一般现在时态
If bears are in danger, they attack people.如果熊处于危险之
中,他们就会对人进行攻击。
3)在任何情况下, 条件状语从句本身都不使用将来时态。
条件状语从句与宾语从句的区别。
与as long as 和 unless 不同,if 既可以引导状语从句,也可以
宾语从句。
if 引导的条件状语从句:
If it rains tomorrow ,we’ll stay at home.如果明天下雨,我们就
呆在家里。
If you use your head,you’ll find a way.如果你动动脑子,你
就会想出办法的。
If 引导的宾语从句:
I wonder if he will come to help us.我想知道他是否会来
帮助我们。
I wonder if he has finished his work. 我想知道他是否完
成他的工作了。
我们会发现,if 连接宾语从句时其时态是根据其所表达的意思而定的,
可以表示将来,可以表示过去,也可以表示完成。从释义的角度来讲,
if 连接宾语从句一般表示“是否....”;if 引导状语从句时,一般表示“如
果....”的意思。

把一个词词尾的音和第二个词词前的音连起来读,这种现象叫
连读。连读是一个重要的朗读技巧。
连读的条件:相邻的两词在意义上必须密切相关,同属于一个
意群。连读所构成的音节一般都不重读,只需顺其自然地一带
而过,不可读得太重。
1.”辅音+元音”型连读
在同一个意群里,如果相邻两词中的前一个词是以辅音结尾,
后一个词是以元音开头,这就要将辅音与元音拼起来连读。
Eg;It ˇis an ˇold book.
Let me have ˇa look ˇ at ˇit.
2.“元音+元音”型连读
如果前一个词以元音结尾,后一个词以元音开头,这两个音往
往也要自然而不间断地连读到一起。
Eg:Iˇam Chinese.
Heˇis very friendly to me.
3.”r/re + 元音”型连读
如果前一个词是以-r或者-re结尾,后一个词是以元音开头,这
时的r或re,不但要发/r/,而且还要与后面的元音连起来拼读。
Eg:They’re my fatherˇand mother.
I looked forˇit hereˇand there.
Here ˇare fourˇeggs.
但是,如果一个音节的前后都有字母r,即使后面的词以元音开
头,也不能连读。
Eg:The black clouds are coming nearer and
nearer.(nearer与and不可连读)。
