My Biggest Wishes
Hi there! I'm so excited to tell you about my biggest wishes
in life. We've been learning about wishes and dreams in English
class, and our teacher asked us to write an essay sharing our
biggest hopes and desires. Get ready, because my wishes are
huge!
Wish #1: Become a Professional Soccer Player
My number one wish is to become an awesome professional
soccer player when I grow up. I absolutely LOVE soccer! I've
played on my town's youth team since I was 6 years old. Soccer is
my favorite sport in the whole wide world. I practice dribbling,
passing and shooting every single day after school. My dream is
to play for a giant pro team like Manchester United or Barcelona
one day. Just imagining myself scoring the winning goal in a big
championship game gives me goosebumps!
I wish I could be as talented as my soccer idol Lionel Messi.
That guy is insanely good! Did you see his incredible dribbling
skills in the 2022 World Cup? He made those defenders look silly
as he danced around them. I have a lifesize poster of Messi on
my bedroom wall to inspire me. I try to copy his slick moves
when I'm out practicing in the backyard. My parents tease me
that I'll wear out the grass with all my dribbling!
If my wish comes true, I'll be a multi-millionaire soccer
superstar. I'll have my face on video games and jerseys. Kids all
over the planet will beg their parents for shirts with my name on
the back. I'll score breathtaking goals that make crowds go wild.
Fans will chant my name in stadiums everywhere I go. A dream
life if you ask me!
Wish #2: Swim With Dolphins
Another huge wish of mine is to swim and play with dolphins.
Don't they seem like the sweetest, happiest animals? I love
watching videos of people interacting with those playful
dolphins. They're so fascinating to me.
It would be an absolute dream to get up close and personal
with the ultra-smart dolphins. I'd give anything to have them
swim circles around me. I imagine it would feel like getting a
warm, wet hug! Maybe I could even hold onto a dolphin's
