Range of utilization
The gear unit is suitable for connection to a
standart chain conveyor with double
bearing supported sprocket shaft.
The input power is provided from an
electric motor connected to the gearbox
through a hydraulic or intermediate
coupling.
This chapter contains a discription of the
gear unit HB-KPL-25/35.
1. 使用范围
该减速器适合用在标准化的带双轴承支承的链轮轴的链式运输机上。

The bevel gears are manufactured from
alloyed steel, equipped with Klingelnberg
spiral cutting, carbornize hardened and
finished.
Spur gear, sun pinion and planetary gears
are also made from alloyed steel,
carbornize hardened with ground rooth
flanks.
The gear rim is made from steel and the
inside gearing shaped by WAZ-process.

The interior of a gear unit is coated with
gear oil DIN 51517 part 3, kinematic
viskosity 320 mm2/s.
It is not necessary to remove the internal
preservation if mineral oils are used.
Before taking into operation, the gear
unit must be filled with oil according to
the respective mounting position. See
table for oil level (cf. chapter 12).
Use the specially red marked oil plugs
for this purpose.

4.2 润滑油更换 / Oil change
The oil filling should be executed above
ground.
首次换油发生在设备工作了大约800小时(依据每天工作20小时,大约2个月)。

The first oil change should occur after
approx. 800 operational hours (based on
20 operating hours per day, approx. 2
months).
Follow-up oil changes in intervals of
approx. 2000 hours, but not later than 6
months.
The magnets in oil plugs must be cleaned
thoroughly when oil is changed.
5. 冷却 / Cooling
冷却器能够对减速器进行充分冷却。
顺序连接冷却装置。
水连接装置为STECH-O型的联轴节。
操作端连接为M22x1.5的堵头或是通过STECK-O型联轴节
The cooling occurs through external
reachable oil cooler units and a fixed
integrated water chamber.
The cooling units are linked by means of
series connection.
The water connecting is equipped with
Steck-O-Coupling.
Operational side connections are plugs
M22x1.5 or via Steck-O-Coupling.
Not present.
By operation without breather, a little
atmospherical overpressure ist present.

10. 通用/ General
左右工作面转换时,为了保护减速器,必须保证以下措施:
● 在齿轮装置的顶部必须安有通气孔过滤器;
● 如减速器安有油温监测,则必须在油腔里;
● 在减速器启动前,一定要确保润滑油泵上方连接管路用标有X的螺栓堵死。
The attachment of breather units is
possible.
It is possible to observe the oil temperature
at the gearbox.
The appropriat points with connecting
thread see, picture 2/1, chapter 2,
paragraph 2.6.
By electronically conducted oil level
monitoring special attention can be paid to
the utilization position and rotation
direction off the drive units, including the
foaming of oil.
For min and max oil level requirement (see
chapter 12, Lubrication filling).
For protection against rehanding
gearboxes (ie, right hand to left hand),
following measures must be ensured.
• The breather filter must always be
attached on top of the gear unit.
• If the gearbox shall be equipped with
oil temperature monitoring, the
attachment is allways in the oil sump.
• Before start-up, please check if the
cross hallow bolt is correct positioned
in the pump cover (position is always
above).

多变的油路和恒定的流向,无控制阀
吸油端由减速器的安装位置来决定,在操作启动前必须进行相应的调整。 详情见章节4.4
The helical head gear-planetary gearbox
HB-KPL-25/35 equipped with externally
attached pump, which provides lubrication
for the bearing supported bevel pinion
shaft.
This shaft-less wing pump has self-
pumping characteristic.
Working method, condition:
Various changing directions and constant
flow direction, without control value.
The suction side is determined by the
installation position of gearbox and must
be adapted accordently before operation
start,
see paragraph 4.4
4.3 结构/ Structure

The oil pump is driven via the pinion shaft of
the gearbox. The oil pump presses the oil
on the pressure side through the delivery
pipe and housing bores to the bearing

在减速器启动前,必须保证润滑油泵上方连接管路用标有X的螺栓堵死。
Before start-up, please check if the
cross hallow bolt (1) is correct
positioned in the pump cover (position
is always above).
If gearbox must be installed at a 180 º
tilted position, a modification is
nessecary. The hallow bolt (with the
cross) pos.1 must be switched with
hallow bolt 2.

4.5 泵的功能测试/ Functional testing of pump
启动前,必须确保油泵的功能和正确的连接管路,见4.4章。
程序:
●拆去油泵的外保护盖,见图4/2
●处于上方的吸油管路必须被标有X的螺栓堵死。
●通过下方图中位置1(M42x1,5)注入3升左右的使用精细过滤器过滤过的油。
●锁紧注油孔后,运行电机。即刻,油泵开始工作。
油泵的功能可以小心的通过拧开位置1的油塞检,油涌出,油泵工作. 随后拧紧油塞。(见图4/2)
Prior start-up, the function and the correct
connection of the oil pump must be checked
(see, paragraph 4.4).
Procedure:
• The protection cover of the oil pump
has to be removed, see picture 4/2.
• The locked hallow bolt (by cross
indicated) must lock the upper suction
pipe.
• With help of a fine filter, fill approx. 3
litre oil through the oil filling station
pos.1 (lock bolt M42x1,5).
• After tightening the oil filling entrance,
turn motor of installation on. shortly
after, the oil pump should start.
The funktion of the oil pump can be
checked by careful turned off oil plug
pos.1 (see picture 4/2). Oil squeezed out,
the oil pump works. Afterwards the plug
is to be tightened firmly.

包装和储存 / Handling and Storing
通常运行情况下减速器不包装。如果包装,必须遵循包装指南。
Normaly the gearboxes are not
packaged.
If packing ocoures, it comlies with the
packaging guidelines.
During loading, make sure the
capacity of the device lifting the
gearbox is adequate.
在装货时,保证起吊设施合适。
使用正规的,安全可靠的搬运设备;
小心地将减速器搬运到起吊设施上,用所提供的起吊点起吊;

• Carefully attach the gearbox to the
lifting device, using the lifting points
provided.
The gearbox can only be lifted from the
supplied lifting hooks. All lifting
apparatus must comply to professional
regulations.
Protruding shafts and / or bores must
never be used as lifting fixtures.
During lifting procedure make sure that
no damage occurs to the gearbox or
its attachment.

If gear units are not installed
immediately, the storage facilities must
be free from vibration, frost dust and
moisture.
If gearboxes are stored for a lengthy
period (5 years or longer), a general
inspection of all major parts must be
performed before installation.
If gearbox is left idle for more than 4
weeks, it shoud be filled up with gear

1. 内部保护 / Internal preservation
该减速器内加有防腐剂,可以防腐蚀达6个月。

The units contain an internal preserving
agent which ensures sufficient corrosion
protection for up to 6 month.
Preservation for a prolonged period can be
prearrange by special request while
ordering. (See chapter 3, paragraph 3.2,
item 4.1)
There is no need to drain the preserving
agent before taking gearbox into
operation as it will dissolve when the oil
warms up.
2. 外部保存 / External preservation
轴端,空轴孔和其他机械部件和表面都有防腐涂料。保证期为1年。

Shaft ends, hollow shaft borings and all
other machined parts and surfaces are
given an anti corrosion coating. The
preservation quarantees a 1 year protection.
The anti-corrosion coating can be removed
with nitrothinners or other suitable solution.
3. 后续保护/ Follow-up preservation
In the event the gearbox is stored for a
lenghty period exceeding six months, a
follow up treatment must be applied.

6. 安装 / Installation

This chapter describes the installation of
gear unit.
The gearboxes must only be installed by
properly trained mechanics.
We will not accept liability for damage or
injury resulting from unauthorised work by
someone other than Halbach & Braun
Company.

During onsite electric welding, do not use
the gearbox housing and / or any other
connected components as ground, as to
prevent electric discharge through the
roller bearings, gears, seals, etc.
While using special tools (ie.
hydraulic and pneumatic tools),
please refer to the manufacturer`s
safety instruction.

5.安装联轴节等/ Mounting of couplings etc.

The gear unit`s input and output shafts are
designed for direct connection to the
electric motor and chain conveyor.
The mounting of sprockets, gears, pulleys
etc. is therefore only acceptable if the
requirement of these items is identified
upon initial order.
All shaft extensions are provided with a
threaded holes. Couplings, sprockets
gears, pulleys etc. must be mounted and
retained properly via retaining plate,
screws, etc. The use of force or heavy
impacts is not recommended, as this
could cause damage to internal
components of the gearbox.
The mounted parts should be secured
against axial displacement by means of
retaining plate, fastening screws, and / or
other.
If accessory brakes are used for chain
tightening, it is important that during normal
operation the brake shoes are adequately
aired and do not slip. We recommend that
the brake clearance be checked regularly
and cleaned of any coal dust deposits.

力矩通过花键从减速器上传递到驱动架轴上,规格为DIN5480或者是由客户规定。
在安装齿轮装置之前,必须彻底清洗空轴孔和链轮轴。如果有凹槽与键联结,轴孔必须加上润滑油。
The torque is transmitted from the gearbox
to the drive frame shaft by means of a
spline, specified to to DIN 5480 or to
customer specification.
Before mounting the gear unit, the hollow
shaft bore and sprocket shaft must be
thoroughly cleaned. The shaft bore must be
greased if equipped with groove for key
connections.
The mounted gearbox must be flush with the
drive frame shaft and free of runout.
An exact alignment of drive frame,
couplings, shafts and gear unit ensures a
smooth running operation.
Deformation of the gear unit or shafts must
be avoided to achieve good contact.
After proper alignment the gearbox must be
secured.

All fixing screws connecting gearbox,
motor and the driving machine must
be tighted with a torque wrench and
comply with the manufacturers
instruction.
Inadmissible vibrations during operation are
to be avoided.
Couplings and coupling flanges must also
be accuratley aligned. Please observe and
comply with installation and operating
instructions.
It must be ensured that the approproate oil
plugs of the gearbox can be accessed for
adding or draining oil.

7. 运行前的准备 / Preparation for Operation
7.1 简介 / Introduction
本章介绍了减速器的润滑油的添加,油冷却和油脂润滑的技术要求,包括周围环境和操作的有关说明。
7.2 添加润滑油 / Filling with Oil
减速器在发运时箱内没有加注润滑油,但内加有防腐剂。减速器在投入使用前必须注油。
请使用专门用于此用途的油塞。
This chapter discribes oil filling and oil
cooling of the gearbox, including notes for
ambient and operation data.
The gearboxes are delivered without oil, but
with an inner preserving agent. The gearbox
must be filled with oil before taking into
operation.
Use the oil plugs which are specially marked
for the purpose.
A varicty of gear oils recommendations
from various manufactures are listed in
the table of „Recommended
lubricants“ (see chapter 11, paragraph
11.2, tables 1 and 2).

The gearbox may only be installed in an

Prior to first run, with help of a fine filter,
fill approx. 3 litre oil through the oil filling
station pos.130 (lock bolt M42x1,5).

Once a week check gearbox for leakage.
The gearbox surface should be cleaned
from dirt and oil to locate any leakage, and
to maintain thermal conductivety.
Check oil level on regular basis by oil level
control device, level marks, oil level control
plug.
Changes in the level can be createt by:
• incorrect fill level
• seal failure
• water infiltration

By splash lubrication, a low Oil level causes
unsufficent cooling and lubrication. While too
high an oil level causes exessiv splash

Increased gearbox temperatures may be
caused by:
• Uncorrect oil level
• Gearbox overload
• Exeeded operation torque
• Gearing, Bearing or seal damage.
Dependend on operational
conditions,
the gearbox temperature can vary.
By surrounding temperatures of 0 up
to +40°C the oil bath temperature
may rise from +50°C up to +90°C.

during extreme temperature data for the gearbox technical
heating design are specified in the
instructions on technical data chapter
2.
4 噪音控制/震动分析
4 Noise control / Vibration Analysis
On a regualar base, check the noise level or
test woth help of vibration analysis,
conspicuous mechanical characteristics of
roller bearings, gearing, aligment, etc.

10.3 维护 / Maintenance
1. 润滑油更换
按照第10章第10.4节所示维护步骤进行检查。
在运行800小时后进行第一次换油(若每天运行20小时大概2个月)。
第一次换油后,每运行2000小时或6个月后,以先到为准,更换润滑油。

1. oil change
Execute inspections according to
Maintenance Schedule chapter 10,
paragraph 10.4.
Execute first oil change after approx 800
operating hours (based on 20 hours
operating time approx. 2 months)
Change the oil every 2000 operating hours
or after 6 months, whichever comes first.
While gearbox is in warm condition, drain
the old gear oil at the lowest point of the
gearbox.
Collect used oil in suitable
containers and recycle according to
enviromental regulations.
Replenish the oil using the same brand and
grade. Never mix oils of different grades or
brands.
If converting to a synthetic gear
oil, you must flush the gearbox
carefully with synthetic oil.
However, check if the seals and
the interior paint are compatible
with this oil.
Please consult Halbach &
Braun Company prior to the
change.
将用过的油贮存在适当的容器中,按照环保要求进行再利用。
再注满同样牌号等级的润滑油。严禁不同的润滑油混用。
如果要换用合成润滑油,必须用合成润滑油对减速器进行清洗。但是必须首先检查油封和内部油漆是否与此润滑油相适应。在更换润滑油之前请先咨询H&B公司。
当重新添加润滑油时,请务必使用过滤器或细筛对其进行过滤。

4 停用 / Taking out of operation
如果由于某种原因减速器停止使用达4个长星期或更长时间,我们建议先将减速器空运转一下,使润滑油充分溅到运动和不运动的部件上。如果不可能做到这点,我们建议将减速器内加油超过正常油位,使所有的轴承和齿轮的浸在油中。
当减速器再次使用时,必须放出一部分润滑油使油位线露出。如果减速器内加的仅仅是贮存油,那么应先用稀润滑油将内部清洗一下,然后加满推荐的润滑油。
If for any reason the gearbox should sit idle
for a period of 4 weeks or longer, it is
preferred that the unit be run unload in order
that fresh lubrication be splashed on to all
moving and anmoving components.
If this is not possible, we recommend over
filling the gearbox with lubricant (based on
gear oil) to a level that all bearings and
gears are covered.
When putting back into operation, the oil
must be drained until to the oil running level
has been reached. If a pure storage oil has
been used, the gearbox interior must be
rinsed with a thin fluid oil (based on gear oil),
drained and refilled with recommended gear
oil.

filling.
It is very important to fill the gear unit
with oil according to it´s position.
While gearbox is in idle condition, the
oil level is read via dipstick.
