Good afternoon everybody. I’m Alison from GAMI. It’s my honour to
standhere to share my understanding of innovation.
About innovation, what comes to your mind firstly ? As for me,
mostinnovation shines our lives in the long process of humanhistory. Just
imagineten million years ago, what are our ancestors’ lifestyles? They
must huntanimals or pick the roots and leaves for food laboriously with
simple tools ;They have to roar with each other to communicate in a long
distance; Theirtransportation basically rely on walking. In short, their
lives are hard, simple, even a little boring. However, taking a look at
our lives today! We canorder KFC at home , our food is more easily and
diversifiedly to be acquired; wecan get in touch with our friends anywhere
at anytime by telephone , E-mailandWeChat! Our vehicles include
buses ,cars, planes and so on, it becames soeasy to reach the destination.
So how did these happen? Those changes are allowing to the countless
innovation. It makes our lives become more convenient, comfortable and
colorful.
But in today’s modern life , don’t we need to innovate? No no, let’
s have alook at the problems we are facing: air pollution, traffic jam,
waste ofresources. Those are related to our survival. Maybe we can make
a huge machineto filter the polluted , or invent a car which not only can
drive along theroad, but also can fly in the sky; or one day we synthesis
super energymaterials, we would never relay on traditional resources any
more. Are thoseideas too exaggerated? Who knows? Just as hundreds years
ago, nobody can imaginewe can fly by plane. Time will tell you the truth .As
Edward, a famouspsychologists, said: Without innovation, there would be

no progress, and wewould be forever repeating the same patterns. Therefore,
innovation is aneternal topic for people, countries and societies! That’
s all, thank u !

Different people have various ambitions. Some want to be engineers
or doctors in the future. Some want to be scientists or businessmen. Still
some wish to be teachers or lawers when they grow up in the days to come.
Unlike other people, I prefer to be a farmer. However, it is not easy
to be a farmer for Iwill be looked upon by others. Anyway, what I am trying
to do is to make great contributions to agriculture. It is well known that
farming is the basic of the country. Above all, farming is not only a
challenge but also a good opportunity for the young. We can also make a
big profit by growing vegetables and food in a scientific way. Besides
we can apply what we have learned in school to farming. Thus our
countryside will become more and more properous.
I believe that any man with knowledge can do whatever they can so long
as this job can meet his or her interest. All the working position can
provide him with a good chance to become a talent.

hello everyone!
i am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as
the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.
five score years ago, a great american, in whose symbolic shadow we
stand today, signed the emancipation proclamation. this momentous decree
came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had
been seared in the flames of withering injustice. it came as a joyous
daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.
but one hundred years later, the negro still is not free. one hundred
years later, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles
of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later,
the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean
of material prosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is still
languished in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile
in his own land. and so we've come here today to dramatize a shameful
condition.
in a sense we've come to our nation's capital to cash a check. when
the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the
constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a
promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was
a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be
guaranteed the "unalienable rights" of "life, liberty and the pursuit of
happiness." it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this
promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead

of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people
a bad check, a check which has come back marked "insufficient funds."
Thank you!

One night, I complained to my mom about the lack of time. Finally she
said,"you are short of time just because you waste precious minutes on
complaints and anxiety. The point is, no matter how full your schedule
is, if you try really hard, you can always fit in some thing more."
It is the same with filling the jar. Even if you place a dozen
fist-sized rocks and a bucket of gravel into the jar, there is still space
for sand and water between the rocks and gravel.
The lack of time is just the excuse for my negligence of every single
minute. I believe that the great dividing line between success and failure
can be expressed in six words,"I did not have enough time."The fact is
I do have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen
Keller, Pasteur, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein. The point is I
have never touched upon the real meaning of life which lies in snatching,
seizing and enjoying every minute of it. No idleness, no delay, no
procrastination, no complaint! It is during my moments of complaining or
hesitation that my destiny is shaped. Once I make full use of every moment,
I believe that, my worries will be gradually cut down to nothing.
Time is the most valuable of all our possessions, but the most
perishable as well. As Henry David Thoreau said,"You must live in the
present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each
moment."
5 / 8
Whenever I fell the lack of time in the future, I will tell myself
"Carpe diem , seize the day, make every moment count."

Hold Fast To Your Dreams
I have a dream today。
I have a dream that one day every vally shall be exalted, every hill
and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain,
and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord
shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together。
6 / 8
Wow, what a dream it has been for Martin Luther King。 But the changing
world seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow
in the process of growing up, and sometimes I personally find myself
saying goodbye unconsciously to those distant childhood dreams。
However, we meed dreams。 They nourish our spirit; they represent
possibility even when we are dragged down by reality。 They keep us going。
Most successful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are
not afraid to think big and dare to be great。 When we were little kids,
we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant。
Now what we need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them
into reality。 However, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas
how to translate these dreams into actions。 Well, just start with
concrete objectives and stick to it。 Don’t let the nameless fear confuse
the eye and confound our strong belief of future。 Through our talents,
through our wits, through our endurance and through our creativity, we
will make it。
Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird
that cannot fly。 Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a
barren field frozen with snow。 So my dear friends, think of your old
and maybe dead dreams。 Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from
today。
