英语in case of 和in the case of 的区别

英语中，in case of 和in the case of 是两个相似的词组，但他们的意思不一样，今天我们就来学习一下。

1. in case of 意为“以防，万一”，由于of是介词，后面跟名词或者动名词形式。

例句1：You should buy an anti-theft door in case of theft.

2. in the case of 意为“在。。。。的情况下，就。。。。来说”。

例句1：We can make an exception in the case of John.

如果是John的话，咱们可以破个例。

例句2：In the case of women, they have more difficulty in their

job.

就女性来说，他们在工作中的困难更多。

例句3：In the case of different values, this sum is decreased.

在不同的值的情况下，这个和就会减小。
